Salt Lake City, UT—March 18, 2008—Leading advertising and design agency Struck (www.struckcreative.com) recently participated in the Utah Advertising Federation’s local version of the Addy’s and was one of the contest’s top winners.
Struck took home 10 Gold Addy’s, 8 Silver Addy’s, and the Judge’s Special Award. The Struck clients that were honored included:
The Sean Kimerling Foundation – 4 Golds, Sweet's Candy – 1 Gold & 1 Silver, Deer Valley Resort – 1 Gold & 1 Silver, Cocoa – 1 Silver, Utah Office of Tourism – 1 Gold & 2 Silvers, Utah Film Commission – 1 Gold, XanGo – 2 Silvers, and Ski Utah – 1 Gold & 1 Silver
The Lush business card received the Judge’s Special Award, which was conceived of by the Judges upon seeing and handling the Lush business card. This year’s judges included: Ellen Steinberg from McKinney, Luke Sullivan from GSD&M, Mark Taylor from CP+B, and Rebecca Bedrossian from Communication Arts magazine. Two of the judges referred to the Lush card as "the best business card they had ever seen."
We want to extend a huge thanks to every one of the Struckers who made these amazing projects possible. Thank you also to our amazing clients who constantly let us get away with such crazy concepts. And we’d like to offer special congratulations to Brandon Knowlden, Rich Black, and Peder Singleton for conceiving, writing, and smashing the show-stopping Lush business card. Great work everyone!
