
Struck wins Deer Valley Resort Account

Salt Lake City, Utah – One month after the merger of Struck Design and W communications, the newly merged entity, Struck, of Salt Lake City has announced that it has become the agency of record for Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah.
Since opening in 1981, Deer Valley Resort has become known for revolutionizing ski area service. As a result, Deer Valley Resort was named the #1 ski resort in North America by the readers of Ski Magazine in 2001 and 2005. In 2002, Deer Valley Resort welcomed the world as the Olympic venue for Freestyle, Aerial, and Slalom skiing events.

Deer Valley Resort’s new agency, Struck, is a result of combining the forces of W Communications of Salt Lake City, Struck Design of Salt Lake City, and the talents of Steve Driggs, who has returned to Utah and worked most recently with Fallon in Minneapolis. Prior to the merger, W Communications was best known for nationally recognized creative and branding work as the agency of record for the Utah Office of Tourism for which it developed the new brand “Life Elevated.” Struck Design was a powerhouse in both the design and interactive realms, with such national clients as XanGo, Ogio and Sweet’s Candy and has partnered with advertising heavy-weights Goodby Silverstein and Partners, Arnold, and Tribal DDB to do interactive work for clients like Volkswagen, Timberland, and Philips Norelco.
