As a simple photography portfolio site, Carol had humble expectations. Immediately after the launch of her site, however, she had a crash course in the power of solid design principles multiplied by the strength of the internet. In her first week, she catapulted into over 300,000 unique visitors. Much to her surprise, the surge in traffic required her to pay double for extra bandwidth. Yeah, she didn't complain though.
