When Crispin, Porter + Bogusky came to us to build the web component for the launch of Volkswagen’s new TV campaign, they gave us 15 days. The site was a key component of an integrated marketing plan featuring a sales promotion with First Act guitars. The TV campaign featured a series of spots with celebrity musicians like Slash and John Mayer, playing their guitars through amplified cars. We programmed the site, which successfully went live, coinciding with the Volkswagen’s air date of the new campaign.
